Calling Olicía a “Vocal-Duo” isn’t wrong, but it fails miserably at expressing what these two enchanting ladies are capable of. Using only their voices, two loop stations and a few extras, they create a wall of sound that has nothing to do with “a capella” but is instead contemporary music between acoustics, electronics, pop and avantgarde.

In order for their first music video to live up to and embrace this approach, I chose to contrast different concepts: studio shots with nature, artificial light on bark, water and skin. I also improvised movements with accurately sequenced lights.
